Kappa Delta Sorority is holding its annual Shamrock Event on March 15, 2008. Once again, we will be hosting a 5K/1 Mile Fun Run on La Tech's campus. This year it will be at Hideaway Park next to the TAC. After the athletic events, we will hold an awards ceremony. The registration cost for the run is $20 which includes a T-shirt. Later that night, we will have jambalaya dinner boxes at our Kappa Delta lodge from 6-8. You can buy a dinner ticket from any Kappa Delta lady for $5!
The Shamrock Event benefits the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home and Prevent Child Abuse America. Eighty percent of the money raised is donate to the Methodist Children's Home which will benefit the children of Ruston directly. The remaining twenty percent will go to Prevent Child Abuse America.
