Alpha Chi Chapter member, Katie Cooper, was chosen as a Chapter Development Consultant (CDC) for the national sorority. According to the Kappa Delta website, “A CDC is a recent college graduate who is able to continue her Kappa Delta experience by visiting Kappa Delta chapters throughout the United States.” During each visit, Katie will “assist with chapter development, officer transition, recruitment assistance or recruitment planning.” She may also help with “extension presentations, colonizations and installations of new chapters.”

Katie Cooper was chosen among many applicants for this coveted position. In reviewing applications, Kappa Delta looks for well-rounded individuals with chapter office (especially Council) experience, campus involvement, a solid academic record, and good leadership and communication skills. Katie has served as the Panhellenic Representative for Kappa Delta and an Orientation Student Leader. She served as Panhellenic President last year and is a member of many campus groups including the Student Advancement Team, the Association of Women Students, the Society for Human Resource Management, Order of Omega, and the College of Business Student Ambassador Team. Katie Cooper is certainly deserving of this job. “Being a part of Kappa Delta has truly been the best part of my college career. I am so blessed to have been selected as a CDC,” says Kaite, “I am lucky to be one of those people who will do a job they have passion for and love!"
